IMPORTANT: This is a placeholder document and not legally binding.
1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account and using the RoopKey wallet application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service. You must consult a legal professional to create a legally sound document.
2. Description of Service
RoopKey wallet is an end-to-end encrypted password management service. We provide a platform for you to securely store and manage your credentials. Our end-to-end encryption model means we, the service provider, cannot access or decrypt the contents of your vault.
3. Your Responsibilities
- Master Password: You are solely responsible for remembering your master password. Because of our zero-knowledge architecture, we cannot recover your master password if you forget it. Losing your master password will result in the permanent loss of access to your stored data.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under the account.
- Lawful Use: You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall RoopKey wallet, its affiliates, directors, or employees, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein; (iii) the loss of your master password and subsequent inability to access your data.
5. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You must replace "[Your Jurisdiction]" with the correct legal jurisdiction.
